Just a quick question is the 2.4 efi engine in the later 1997 to 2005 pick ups same as my 1993 2.4 efi engine i know some of the pick ups dont have air conditioning but the one i viewed had the holes there for the bracket also does anyone know different. my head has gone and i have a friend who has a 2002 2.4 pick up and it has been written off by a truck hitting the rear end. and it seems the cheaper option at the moment and the engine has only done 14000 miles on a full toyota service history.

i'm not 100% sure, but i think they are both 2LT engines so i guess they are pretty much the same. I'm sure if it wasn't exactly the same if it had the same flywheel it could be made to fit.
