Surf violated

Someone broke into my surf yesterday and busted up my door handle and lock. Will I have to get a different key now if I get a new lock fitted or is there a way to keep the same key.
They got nothing of value and the stole the old radio that I put in the box of the new stereo i installed last week. He He.
They got a screwdriver and forced the whole handle off the door and then just popped the lock.

you can get the new lock barrel matched to your old key, its quite easy to do to be honest as ive done a few in the past. when i bought my surf the drivers handle had been broken into but the last owner supplied me with a new handle and lock.

Do I have to get it from Toyota or could I change a used one?
Can I get it from a aftermarket suplier?
