  • Leaking pump

Oh no I've got the dreaded leaking pump syndrome!!
It seems to be leaking fuel from somewhere in the pump, dripping down via the passenger side engine mount.
Cant help but think that running it on 50/50 veg oil hasn't helped??
    Anyone have any suggestions/ideas??
    It's a 2.4 td, 1992.
    Thanks, Darren.

if its not the top seal,(which is easy to do) try going back to derv for a while and see if that swells the seals out again
    Non intercooled nothing.

Buy a seal kit from milners £14 delivered, and replace the top seals, it can be done in situ with a few things out (air filter etc), just need to buy an o-ring for the top sensor, b+q do various ring seal packs for little money. This is the most common one to go. I did mine and it is vastly improved, but cos im 100% veg conversion it still leaks a bit from another seal, i like it cos it reminds where to park. If your 50/50 it should cure it but if not, and it aint bad, just leave it, surprising how you get used to something and it dont bother you anymore.
