  • Oil Filter

    Hello all
As a very new Surf owner I am delighted to find this excellent site.
I have one very simple question I would like an answer to.
How do you remove a disconnected engine oil filter from the engine bay?
I know there is a path in and out of the engine bay for old and new filters. I have yet to discover it on my Surf.

Assuming its the 2.4 theres a plate you can remove under the drivers wheel arch, four or five small bolts and voila escape route for the oil filter.
Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.

Thank you for your very swift reply.
Yes the Surf is a 2.4 td 1992. Curretly in garage waiting for rear widow
motor from Toyota. Spent most of my working life repairing machinery large and small and now in retirement the magic of black oily hands has gone.
