  • Diagram for glow plugs????

    Hi All

    Does anyone have or know of a diagram for the glow plugs, as to where they are supposed to hook up to? My 2.4 DT SSRX's plugs were not actually hooked up when I bought him, and now it is a little colder, he doesn't want to start first thing in the morning. He has just had new radiator, new cylinder head, new turbo tube, any ideas, anyone????

    Many thanks, look forward to your replies,

    Amanda

      Hi, Thanks, that's great, would you know where the wires go to from the glow plugs? Got the boys working on it now, but to no avail!!

          Ok, found this in the tech elec section, also do a search on the forum for glowplug electrics and see what comes up;

              If all that was disconnected when you bought it, it sounds like it's had a new engine, or engine out, or did someone start to take it apart for the head change??

                I changed my plugs the other week and from what i can remember, there is a single spade connector wire that goes onto the main element and a thick wire that is held on by a nut, 12mm i think?
                What comes around goes around!!
