since i have installed the new brake pads the ligh tin the das keeps coming on and staying on dim while i drive , sometimes it desappears completly, then it comes back on,
checked fluid and is a little over max and pads don t have any sort of sensors
could be a ghosty or a guly under teh bonnet?

Unplug the float on the master cylinder, this will rule out a dodgy switch. If it still stays on, check the switch on the handbrake lever, and if thats OK then it'll be the low vacuum light, you may need new vanes in the vacuum pump.
