Does anyone know about belts in general. Are they all the same width? What does the AVX13/12.5 mean, it on all 4 belts. I'd source my own belts if I knew I was equipped with the specs that a belt specialist would want. Has anyone got all their belts from Toyota and could you get the codes off them, very handy info for the forum

2 mths l8r and today I picked up the genuine aircon belt from Toyota. The part no for it is 99332-01265, its 1258mm long.Last edited by JimL; 17 April 2004, 18:16.Comment

i always get timing belt from main dealer, belt for surf from toyota, more money but at least you know its right and will last the mileage, it is advisable to change non genuine belts at a lower mileageOriginally posted by JimLDoes anyone know about belts in general. Just as a thought the size may be listed on Toyota's EPC could some one check it out?

EDIT:- Unfortunatly no numbers on the genuine belt, And thankyou I just noticed my belts need adjusting. I better go and do it now!
