  • Vegetable Oil Caused A Fuel Leak.

Yup, that's right guys. I started off at around 50 / 50 and then gradually went up to 100% veg oil and not long after my old DENSO split the top ring.

It is in today to get fixed (£70 I am being charged by a Diesel 'Specialist').

The guy buys and sells 4x4's and was working on a surf the other day (he was selling a nice Land Cruiser this morning) so I reckon she is the right place.

    Any thoughts?

It does. Some of your o-rings are on their last legs by now, and any veg that gets on them kinda makes them go hard. (and shouldn't be a surprise mate, its been mentioned enough on here.)

Get them to show you the old one, and have a look at the new one, big difference.

The old one is 14 years old, you'll be OK for probably as long as the truck lasts.
