a/c refridgerant

hey guys,

I think the refridgerant from my a/c unit ran out. Where can I find out what the replacement refriderant is for my unit. It is an LN130 91 2.4 L Surf SSR Ltd.

Hi Eric, there should be a sticker under the bonnet showing when and what refridgerant has been installed, if not then take to halfrauds and ask them to do a free check, and they'll tell you.

If you know of a specialist air-con guy, that would be better, or check the yellow pages or web.
Chances are it's been fitted with modern refridgerant by now, mine has.

A '91 if it's not been modified will have R12 gas, which is now illegal (at least in the UK anyway). You're best bet is going to be to speak to an air-con specialist who might be able to advise you on what options you have.

try good ole canadian tire they can normally point you in the right direction, they always helped me out when i was out there....
