2.4TD SSR=X spec req urgently please

Hi All
After having my Surf now 3 Months and finally geting it going right myself me and the missus decided to take the guy we bought it off ebay to court, he did tell us that they only do around 50 MPH top speed and that if the engine light comes on it may be that the fuel cap may be screwed on to tight.
Anyway does anyone have the real Toyota spec on top speed, 0 - 60 Mph etc

they will go to 90+ possilbly to 100, 0-60 about 3 days or 1 tank of fuel whichever comes first.

Nah seriously, gotta be 20+seconds 0-60 raggin the nuts off it, but what it was when it came out the factory, who knows? as for topend i reckon you should get it to 95-100mph if you got a long enough road. Should cruise comfortably round the 65-70mph mark . At the end of the day it's a 2 tonne truck though and it was never meant to be quick.

TBH I reckon you been sold a dud story with the fuel cap, they should all go above 50mph, the engine check shouldn't come on, and the fuel cap is meant to be on tight. Sorry to be blunt.

Tricky question. Like Nero says, more than 50, but there's no UK specification for them as they were never sold here. Might be worth asking on the Aussie site????

Yes Fuel pump proplem, spent many hours tuning the Densal pump, cant do in one go thou as the engine does not like the mixture, timing canges, have to do it over a running period, my now does 90 mph and 0-60 in around 14 secs
but did blow my prop last week!! found a good guy to fix props if any one needs to have theres done
