  • Radio Replace ment

(not sure if this is the right spot)

Iam replacing my Radio in my 91 2nd gen Hilux and i have got every thing out. but there is a small box back be hind the radio that the plugs for ti come out of.

I bought a wiring harness and its does not match the plugs coming fomr the box, but ti matches the plus going to the box.

    What is this box?
    is it a amp?
should i remove it to put the new stereo in or rewire to use it as well?

(stereo that is being removed is stock stereo form japan, does not go above 90FM so it does not work for me.)

What kind of harness did you buy? Does it convert the Toyota wiring to a standard aftermarket stereo? If so, where did you buy it?
