My 2.4L turbo diesel will, at random, run like it's missing. Already checked the fuel for water, replaced the fuel filter, and adjusted the fuel pressure. Since it happens randomly/ off and on, I'm having a hard time figuring it out. Any suggestions???

Maybe air getting in to the system somewhere? Had a problem once where the diaphragm on the primer pump was split.Roger

Has someone nicked it then and now you have to push it, mind you 2.4 are a bit underpowered so you could be mistaken for thinking that the engine is missing, try looking under the bonnet for a big metal thingOriginally posted by branscomn
