oil light - wiring and a fuse?

hi,
basically my oil light is a no-show. it never comes on at all to indicate anything. (my pressure is fine so thats ok, but i would like to fix it all the same)
can anyone tell me where on the engine the sender is? ive looked but cant see it anywhere and i dont know where to look.
also is there a fuse or something else i can make live or earth to make the bulb glow on the dash - so that i know its not a fauly bulb?
where can i find this information?
the reason i ask:
on one side i have the turbo and all pipes and bits so cant see underneath this
on the other i have an intercooler, inlet manifold and vacuum pipes and stuff so cant see if its that side either.
underneath i have the protection metal thingy with the air con fans and all that, so cant look from underneath either...
anyone?

There is no oil light, only the gauge. The sender is rearwards of the oil filter and a little lower behind the exhaust pipe. Follow the single wire from alternator loom and you will find it.

oh so im all good then? my oil pressure is working as it should and if there is no actual oil light then i was mistaken in thinking mine had one! i think its a little strange there is no red light to shout 'oi! you got no oil mate!' hehe
