Can anyone help? I've had my 2.4 surf for about 3 years and until recently has given me no real problems (apart from destroying the cylinder head). The poor old thing is throwing out a huge smoke screen when moving, when idling is reading about 250-500 rpm on the counter, is really slow to pull off (probably the low idle speed)and is using diesel like its going out of fashion. As you can tell its not very well.
The head was replaced about a year ago after it got fried and the injectors were refurbished at the same time, the filter housing was replaced a month later due to fuel back flow, the filters have recently been replaced and its had so much injector cleaner put through it recently i dare not put any more in.
A friend seems to think its the pump but the problem sometimes clears up so i'm leaning towards the injectors being toasted again, but i'm not a mechanic and does anyone know a decent garage in my area who fix it.
