  • Hard work and a question or two...

    Man worked damn hard yesterday!

Changed the hinges on the the doors of my single cab pickup '98 MrkII (South Africa).. 1st one took 2.5 hours(as I needed to remove the front fenders) second bout 45min when I knew what to do but hey, doors are perfect now. Changed break pads, front and back, and did a service, oil and filters. from here the questions. Please help as I need to get things done for my roadworthy

I am having difficulty setting the handbreak on the rear. cannot seem to get it to set to the level of stopping the rear wheels dead to rpevent roll back when on a hill. 2nd thing, the right front wheel bearings is shot (2x4 not 4x4) Do I need a bearing puller to remove them (outside should be fine right, inside usually the problem?) and is it a difficult job?

    Thanks

    JT
