My brother has recently purchased a 2.4l Hilux surf and has recently had this light come on. He has checked all the fluid levels and they are fine, can anyone tell me what this is. Thanks

Hi mate, that symbol means there is water in the fuel filter and needs draining.
At the bottom of the filter there is a white plastic fitting that you loosen (unscrew slightly) to let the water out.
When the water has drained and diesel starts to come out, re-tighten the drain tap.

    There's a pic here....

I would change the filter . If the water has been in the filter for a while and the vehicle has been left standing , the filter can start to break up inside and block the pipes and pump . Seen it happen before . Plus the little drain plug can be a bugger to undo whilst the filter is in place . Best remove filter with housing to change filter then refit whole assembley .
