    Hi all i'm thinking of getting a surf and i have seen one advertised but the guy says there is a problem with the fluid flywheel??? What is this and is it expensive to fix? I have searched the forums but cant find anything, its a 1992 2.4 diesel

    It's called a Dual Mass Flywheel and has no fluid in it. It is very expensive to replace so the usual thing to do is use a 3L 2.8Ltr flywheel and a clutch to suit.





    The other guys on the forum should be able to tell you where to get the parts.

      Unless its an auto and he's talking about the torque converter
      If it aint broke dont fix it
