Sender Unit For Cooling Fan

are they readily available from any motor spare shop or will i have to order one?will i need a part number?how much should i pay?are there any things i should bear in mind when changing it or is it a case of just swapping it and connecting the wire?so many questions i know but i'm only just starting to find my own way around working on my cars!many thanks for any answers!

Just swap it over. You might be able to get one off a breaker cheap if it's a bit rich for you, but they do obviously have a limited lifespan.
