Hi everyone, just thought Id offer a little further info with regards the fuel pump adjustment ( sorry,I dont know how to post the link to the appropriate thread). Having returned the screw to a little less than 1/4 turn anticlock from where I started, there is still a little heavy smoke under acceleration and a very faint trail when cruising ( I had someone follow me to check this) so I guess that Im still throwing some unburned fuel through the head and, by definition, therefore not running dangerously lean. Having checked the current fuel consumption though, its running at an average of 28 MPG urban cycle which is a vast improvement on the high teens/ low twenties i was getting before. If it blows up, Ill let you know!
