or am i just paranoid? seems that i got the same syptoms as everyone else, and that every piece of advice, from adjusting the pump output to fitting a new head, would solve my probs. I think my head is going to explode.

Just as a little side note, stop reading all the archives and worrying. You'll do yourself no favours. It's a natural first phase of Surf ownership, so speed through it. You will undoubtedly have some problems that need sorting, but they will generally be fairly minor, easily sorted, problems. If you have any worries about a particular thing, pinpoint the source of the problem and ask advice, but don't worry that you *may* have major problems. If anything stops working completely, that's the only time you need to start worrying. The Surf isn't half as quirky as the archives will make you believe. You have to remember that the archives are built from people *when* they have faults and problems. They aren't built from people posting on a weekly basis to say that things are working perfectly.

Just relax and enjoy it, they are great trucks (just put a little away each week for when the head goes if it still has an original )

Loads are fine and continue to be so. Treat it like you would any other car. Keep the fluids checked and all that stuff.

Just drive it like you stole it! If it's gonna go pop it will.
