    anyone know where to buy it? this is hopefully cheaper than a new rad for now.

    any decent hardware shop, but get it anywhere near aluminium!

        i cant remember! (sorry that last beer must have been in a wet bottle or something..) it either eats it, or gives of unpleasant gasses... its bad apparently.. so every one used to tell me when i was de coking moped exhausts..

          I used the holts 2 part heavy duty rad flush and it took some serious $$$$ out the rad, dunno if that's worth a go or what its got in.

            and dont put the water in the crystals, put the crystals in the water. and if you mix it too strong, it gets quite hot. and dont go out without a coat, you will catch your death.

                  I put some right nasty drain cleaner in Tam's Herald because the engine blocks are well known to silt up . As I put it in I swear I saw the rad start to melt! I had a watering can full of water so quickly flushed it out .
                  Be careful , any off those strong costic cleaners seem a bit evil for rad flushes . I agree with the Holts rad flush as the best option .

                    ok ill go with a dirty strong rad flush instead. do you feed it to the whole system cos im having the rad out today anyway

                      Yeah with the holt's one it's something along the lines of drain, flush, refill, add part 1, idle, drain, flush, refill, add part 2, idle, drain, flush, refill.
