think i've sorted it when it come's on hit the top of the dash it go's off hit it again come's back on so me thinking bad connecition

mine did the same the lights are set into a circuit board so you probably wont find dodgy conection, best to keep an eye out for another instrument cluster from a breaker. if you do that make sure its the right one some speedo,s are cable some electronic
