I've already looked through the forum but cannot find anything specific to this although a lot of advice about the rear window. Therefore sorry if this has been answered and I have missed it but I would appreciate some advice if anyone has had a similar problem or any ideas. The rear window was working fine up to yesterday and today nothing. well nothing apart from I can hear the motor running which I suppose is good news. With the key in the door I was able to move it about 2cm with my hand helping to drag it down. Not a good idea as now it is slightly open as the same trick won't raise it! I shall try the silicone treatment but if this does'nt work how do I get the door open without being able to lower the glass?
This seems to me like there may be a clutch (if fitted) that is slipping which hopefully is adjustable. But how do I get to it if I cannot open the door?
