water leak

Hi All need some advice, my surf has been starting to run ruff on first starting in morning, grey/black smoke feel's like firing on only 2/3 then smoke clears & run's fine,
took it for a short trip today about 5 miles just parked up & looking back sore water running out of engine bay.
look's like water leaking out of rear of engine, rac man said it could be core plug gone or cracked head.

what sort of cost to replace head if needed,

vehicle needs to be reliable, as it is a motorsport response unit carry medical kit.

Rough starting from cold would mean the glowplugs need replacing.

As for the water leak, it may be from a coolant hose, the original hose clips aren't the best, especially if they have been disturbed. It's hard to tell really from a discription.
