Dont think its only 2.4 heads i got my 3.0 in May last year and the head went into melt down at the top of the pennines that was no fun but saved a fortune on diesel coming home on the recovery truck 3.0 heads are just as easy to break!! but hell despite the cost its no dearer than many other cars and a lot cheaper and easier to repair than a lot of other 4x4s

Have you bought it yet? You can try to knock the dealers price down but from my experience dealers can spot a guy in love with a motor a mile off, if he wont drop the price you will probably buy it anyway, best bet is if anything goes wrong with it just say 'look, I paid the full price you asked, I didnt give you a hard time, now look after me!'
Just my two bobs worth anyway.
