A/C Compressor magnetic clutch

my A/C Compressor magnetic clutch assembly has decided to disintergrate i dont use air con and was wondering if i could remove the clutch assembly and belt etc. would it cause any damage?

No problem you can strip the whole of the aircon off, but make sure you get it degased first by an aircon specialist, especially if its got the illegal gas in
