hey folks - i just bought a hilux surf J Reg - its seems to be in good nick, i know these cars arn't made for people who want fuel efficiency etc but...
since it is about 30p per litre cheaper than regular diesel i would like to ask if anyone has any comments to make about using biodiesel aka vege oil (but somewhat less "vege")... there is a place around where i live who sell alot of this stuff and alot of demand for it in drivers around this city, however, ive heard alot of bad stuff about it, like its no good for you engine, because it doesnt combust aswell as regular diesel etc...
does anyone use this stuff in their hilux surf? i have a 2.4TD ssr-x - if i do use it are there any special precautions i have to take or extra maintenance i have to do to regularly use this and keep a healthy engine??...
I used to have an 03 Vauxhall Omega that i used biodiesel in once, it ran ok, but the smell was quiet overwhelming!, is their anyway i can get rid of or help lessen the smell this stuff gives off in the engine bay!?
