I have been trying to get the surf ready for it's MOT and took the drive shaft
and hub assembly off to extract the outer cv joint which was stuck fast.I finished up really having to put pressure on it to free it from the inner circlip which broke inside so now I need new circlip. Are they the same as the UK speck 2.4 Hilux 4x4 pickup also is the outer paper gasket seal standard.
I still haven't sorted the smoke problem the timing markes seemed spot on and all went back together. So i am going to see if it will passit's mot and ask garage for their oppinion
