Very lumpy idle?
The past couple of weeks, my Surf has exibited an exceptionally lumpy idle. It started after my last off-road jaunt (to Weardale), and an over-heat on the way home (caught it just before it went to the red, but still had lost most of the coolant).
It's more noticeable after the engine has warmed up (mainly due to the slightly higher idle that the ECU induces), and whilst sat waiting at lights/junctions etc in drive.
Idle speed is around 700rpm (normal as far as I can tell), and seems to drive fine otherwise.
Any clues? I'll be swapping the head over in a week or two, so if it's not resolved by then I'll be taking a deeper look into the internals.
