2LT head - what is my best option

Howdy folks:

New guy here-

I am about to get into a mid 80's 2 LT engine - North Amerika

Before I spend money on a new head - I would like to know what my options are for a new head- should I get a 3LT head
Will a 3 LT head work on my early 2LT block

no it wouldnt fit, take a look at the two head gaskets and you will see the bolt holes are in different places
