Well I didn't get as far as having the water gas checked, went 25 miles into Newquay and it chucked all the water out again, topped up after cooling and did 3 miles. Very nice recovery man brought it home, don't need to worry about checking the exhaust gas in the water, it comes out to shake your hand...
Gonna rip the head off then..

Heads off, rains stopped, no cracks in head, but Top of no2 bore is heavily pitted and the head is carbonised at that point.
How does £650 delivered for a new imported engine sound??

Anyone want one of Stevo's heads, outlived the rest of the engine, could well be going cheap when I've checked out the block
