Hi Folks,
I want to change my rad on 2.4 1993 ssr-x and cant find any info on it.
Has anyone ever done it and will I end up needing counselling after? any help

Should be easy, plenty of room to work. I believe roughtrax do them for a modest sum.

its an easy job to do just take your time, undo the viscous fan and shroud and remove first, then undo all the pipes catching all the coolant as you do, undo the bolts on either side of the rad and remove. refit in reverse order but i would replace the pipe clips with jubilee type clips, then refill rad with fresh coolant. job done!!

Don't forget to 'plug' the ends of the transmission cooler pipes that connect onto the bottom of the rad, or else you'll have a lovely red oil slick.

ps: I managed to get a new one from milners £162 in vat, well happy with that!!!
