The demister that should blow at screen. never has done.

Watching the white nylon linkages
while someone pushes the various blower option buttons,
doesn't give much away, although by popping off the lowest joint, I have at least got heat to the floor now.

can anyone describe what is supposed to happen when demist is selected,
and does, fresh/recycled air
make any difference?

my prob is the two blowers middle that blow at you dont work,,tried everything any ideas guys,,

yeah i had that prob. after pops of linkage thingy put back on and manually push it bit further! that should get it onto ya windscreen if youve gone the right way!, then youve got the option of fixing the mechanism so it works fine or like me leave it on windscreen mode forever more!

shortcut

popped off lowest linkage, which gives me some control over the footwell temp.

Pulled the moving arm thing about, but the buttons caused little movement on the side of blower box, like you I've gone for a perma-gale effect on the screen, for now.

Can't face removing the dash again, to look for a kinked wire,
swapping the stereo was bad enough

Windscreen mode = full swing then the bottom linkage should follow the runner and lift to the top IE kinda like an inverted L...If you know what I meen ????!
