I am not getting any fuel to injectors ,I have undone pipe on injectors no fuel coming through when i turn the engine over,I have checked fuel filter output to fuel pump, fuel is getting down to pump but not getting any further.however the fuel pump was working before i striped head down .checked timing all spot on..

Then there must still be air in the pipes. Loosen the injector pipes and keep cranking and pumping the plunger on the filter housing. It may be helpful if you get someone to crank the engine while you watch/pump the primer, unless you've got unfeasably long arms!

ok I have tried this 3 or 4 times ,how long does this take to get the fuel to the injectors approx ?

If fuel is definitely reaching the pump but not the injectors, then it could be the fuel stop solenoid has shut of the supply to the injectors.

now that would make sense is it controled by a fuse ?

Acording to my manual it's the Ignition fuse, which is located in the fuse box down by the gas pedal. It's the 7.5amp fuse, top row in the middle.

                    I see you have a '91 - 2.4. Is it a 2LT or 2LT-E. The 2LT has a Fuel Stop Solenoid the 2LT-E has not.

ok thanks to all ,I have a surf that is a runner, just to recap after new head that I fitted I could not get any fuel through to injectors. Well as Bushwacker said you need 2 people one to turn over the engine and the other to pump like mad on the fuel priming pump (this took about 4-5 mins..and then the engine burst in to life. checked head and water all a ok .however I still have a problem where the surf is left standing it will not start which is because i have air getting in to the fuel so going to replace a few clips and ajust others but we are all good..thanks to all
                      Happy Surfing
