can anyone help? my surf is a 1993 2.4 turbo. It broke down, investigations show no fuel coming out of injector/pipe joint. Fuel filter and filter head are perfect. Fuel getting to pump no problems, vehicle was running fine before this happened, fault code has come up with number 8 (cold air intake), so that should not affect it. Does anyone know if a wiring diagram is available for fuel pump. I have tried every source i can,any information would be much appreciated.
    Many thanks steve

Hi Steve, have you tried loosening each of the pipes on the injectors in turn and cranking the engine to see if any diesel spurts out? could be just an air lock in the fuel lines.

      still got problems

thanks for the reply,i have bled the system and the vehicle is running. When its hot it cuts out instantly, wait for a while and then will restart. i have checked all obvious joints/connections and nothing appears amiss, fuel is also clean. Any ideas anyone (please)

        no fuel at injectors

i just bought a k reg 2.4 efi diesel ssrg as a non runner,it too has a similar problem except mine wont run at all, after getting the check light working(someone had put tape over the hole inside the tacho so no light was visible),the ecu reports no fault codes (it does if i remove sensors so i presume the ecu is working).the light stays on if the ignition is on,and flashes once if it is in diag mode ,(is it meant to go out when the engine fires up?)but there is no fuel at the injectors,i am presuming the pump is not working,so i am going to replace it,i noticed the spill valve had been disconnected (ie the plugs cut off) therefore which colours should go to which wire (red and black from spill valve,red/black and blue from the loom, the red/black carries 5v and the blue 13.5v) are there any other likley causes to this problem?all help greatly appreciated.
