does anyone know how to remove the dipstick pipe,is it bolted in or pressed home and if its pressed how can it be removed and put back?the problem is that it seems to have been bent to such a degree that on removing the dipstick it wont go back in,have tried ti straighten it and squeeze the bend out at the bottom but still no joy.any ideas??? 1993 2.4,Cheers

It seems like you need a new one. Why not purchase a new one and then you will see how it fits rather than risk more damage and a possible leak trying to straighten the old one.

      Maybe this pic will help.

Never had to take mine out but I think they press in but may also be supported by a small bracket.

Strange init, non-EFI 2.4's and 3.0's are just a O-ring that pushes in the block, but the EFI ones are bolted in?
