  • Viscous Fan

I have just had a new head fitted (stevo modified) and wondered if anybody can give me some instructions of how to service the viscous fan. i know you have to split the fan to top up the fluid but am unsure how to udjust the fan so that it comes on a bit earlier.. is there a website somewhere.

When the fan hub is split, you can top it up if need be, then mark the screws position in their little slots, loosen the screws and check the spring is working (the screws should slowly move to one end of the slot. Then move the center part back again so its a little the otherside of the marks you made and tighten the screws up. The viscous fan clutch will now drive harder for the same rad temp.
