Another new head

Just my got my truck back yesterday after Stevo fitted a new head. Cracks between 3 cylinders and one other larger one too, he fitted a new water pump too, runs well, seems to smoke less, although he said it didn't smoke much for a surf anyway. Nice guy did a good job, even picked me up to and from the railway station. Thanks Stevo good job done, and certainly cheaper than local 4x4 garages. Nice to meet a mechanic that finally knows alot about surfs and does a great job...

Nice manual Gearbox on your truck mate. I popped into steves as he was starting on it. Glad he sorted it out for you

so you are happy with the new head, i have ordered one from stevo should be delivered tomorrow (wed) do you think its much better ?

Running

Yeah sure, it seems to run a lot better, more ummph, a little louder than before, more responsive.

Just wait till it's all run in properly, i had a fully reconditioned engine with modofied head and turbo from Stevo last April.
It's now done 8K kms since and just gets better, smooth, responsive, powerful and doesn't use a drop of oil.
He knows his stuff that bloke.
