Hi just fitted new Rad to my 2.4.
been running a couple of days, then it decides to chuck out all the coolant thro the overflow pipe from the top up bottle, topped her up again temp guage normal, running well,untill now,smoke from exhaust on tick over (have i done the head??) and the pressure build up in the system has started to blow
up the rad (reshape the top) and the hoses have started to come off.
Could I have just done the head gasket ??
Would a knackered thermastat cause this?? (is this why the old rad blew??)
not bled properly ??
Help need please before I rip my head off!
Have just replaced Cam belt, is takin the head off a **** of a job.
