    Thats what I was about to say, id previously said someone told me it was 10,40 but I went and read the drum and it is 15,40, exactly what you guys advised, so its not the oil

      May still be the oil.... Although it is 15w/40 it IS NOT semi synthetic - or necessarily (spelt Wrong) suitable for Turbo's.

      JCB's (or atleast the 3c model) do have turbo's fitted but they are much more heavy duty than you would find on the surf therefore the lines would have a larger diameter and take a more viscose (thicker) oil

      I personally wouldn't use standard 15w/40 for tractors/diggers/dump trucks even though i have access to it for free. I use the stuff from milners or for top-ups off the shelf from garages
