  • Newbie Needs Help

    Greetings,

I have recently bought a 2LT Mk3 and have a problem as well as a few questions.

Fault - 4WD does not engage. If I'm stationery and push the button nothing happens. The 4WD light on the dash doesn't come on. If I'm moving and push the button the dash light flashes and a beeping alarm sounds. I have swapped the 4WD control unit with one that I know works but this makes no difference. Has anyone got any ideas?

Also does anyone know of a good garage (near to Swindon) who know surf's and service them? Lastly, where's the best place to get an alarm fitted....answers on a postcard

    Thanks in advance,

    Ken

I half remember a post similar to this and think the flashing 4wd light points towards the problem a bit like the error codes. TonyN is yer man to get in touch with
