after lots of pratting about flushing rads changing stats and so .
a big lesson has been learnt take advice seriously
don't pi55 about spend ten quid on silicone oil and half an hour of labour and top up the VISCOUS FAN oil and give the termo coupler on the front of it a good clean. stick it back to gether
call me lucky i have taken the temp gauge into and past the red over a dozen times in the last 12 months and no ill efects.
last week i did the fan and then hitched up my 21' jubilee globtrotter and whent hill running with ittwo hours of flogging it up welsh mountains and the gauge hardly rose above the normal mark.
me is happy again.
