Having considered buying a surf for a while but with funds low I am forced to buy a 2.4 with the usual head/engine feeling poorly, this means i do the work and save some money, but instead of rebuiling the 2.4 with mod head at great expense, how about rebuilding it with a 3ltr version.
Can you advise on how easy it is?

Hi lt can not be done with out a complete 3.0litre car as a donar vehicle.far to much to change.

As BOB says forget it as its not like swapping a 1300 xflow engine for a 1600 xflow engine. This is a very expensive way to go.

Easier swap is to put a V8 Rover petrol in it
