i seem to be suffering with power loss from my 2.4 Surf. Also fuel consumption gone up. I suspect the turbo any way of checking this.

It could be that you need a new air filter, or some fuel injector cleaner in yer tank.
Also, check your exhaust is in good condition.

Hmmm. One way to check if the turbo is spinning, is remove the rubber elbow that connects the turbo to the tube going across the engine and spin the impeller with your finger.( engine off of course )
Also, are there any splits in the flexy rubber tube that comes out of the air filter?Comment

All the rubber pipes were replaced about 6 months ago although i havent checked lateyComment

came on over about 3 months. I dont drive it that often so i noticed it but my wife who drives it every day noticed the fuel bill going up 300km on a full tankComment
