    Well, actually it is a question regarding the electrics upon the surf.
    Recap, 2.4 TD Auto no sunroof.

    Right, many moons ago I had to replace the battery, after I did this, I noticed the connector dooberies on the battery were stuffed.
    I replaced the negative but lost the positive connector, so I wedged a nail in to tighten the connection.
    Last weekend I fitted the new terminal and blow me with a spoon, it goes like the preverbial sh*t off a shovel!!
    I didn't think this would improve perfomance, but ti has.
    Anybody comes up qith a reason other than coincidence, then let me know.
    Meanwhile I am going to enjoy this while it lasts!!!

    Hmmmm, don't know about going faster but...having a good connection on your battery will let power go in out easier and therefore your electrics should do as there supposed to do better. Maybe your ecu was getting bad signals because sensors were sending back duff signals...

      not sure, but with the better performance comes black smoke!
      Thought I had cleared that little problem
