Can anyone tell me which sensor on the 2.4td is the turbo boost pressure? After changing my knackered turbo for a new one the diag is still flashing a code 2!! What a difference a new turbo has made, I now wish id done it months ago it has never worked properly since I got the car!!

Have you re-set the codes after replacing the turbo? Disconnect the batteries for a minute or so to reset the codes, then drive the beast again.....
    It just does, OK?

Yip reset codes by disconnecting battery after short drive the dreaded light lights up. Short the connection and a code two flashes up! What’s that all about? I was thinking that maybe the sensor has had it.
I got my new turbo off e-bay I was a bit dubious at first but the guy had a first class rate and the turbo works great in fact I don’t think my last one was working at all what a difference!!

It's on the filter housing. There is a vacuum hose from under throttle body to a small white filter and another hose from this to sensor.Check these are connected.

It's not me. Honest. It does work if you copy and paste the link in a new window. It's when you click on the link that it doesn't display. They have an anti-hotlinking setup on the Oz techsite for images, it would appear.

thats the right hose but its not vacuum its pressure and sometimes blows off

Not that I know of and haven't had this problem before. I'll try again.

If you insist on being really technical then the hose is both Vacuum and Pressure. Pressure when under accelleration and throttle is open and Vacuum when decelerating and throttle is closed. If you connect a combination Boost/Vacuum gauge you will see this. It's main function though is to supply pressure to the Turbo pressure Sensor.

Was wondering whether it might be something new that had been added or whether it might just be the site that's playing up. It can't make it's mind up what to do.

sorry i never insisted anything calm down, dont think i was really being techanical, but the ecu takes a boost pressure reading not a vacuuum reading, you can connect your combo boost vac tester but it will tell you what you said in you last sentence " Its main function though is to supply pressure to the turbo pressure sensor, cheer up dude even if its a from a pom telling you the workings
