Hi, I have just bought a cvjoint boot ( I think that's what it's called ? ) the rubber bit from the front wheel is splashing oil / grease. Can anyone give me an idea how to fix it ? please

you need to take the said drive shaft off to replace the boot but while you have that shaft off it makes sense to replace both boots on that shaft
