  • Noise from rear wheel

When I am driving slowly in traffic I can hear a relay that clicks in the drivers fuse box, then a bang as if One of the rear wheels has gone over a stone? What could it be.

I had changed at sometime my front wheels to rear and when i drove off later I had a bang, but i think it may have been the balancing weights, this may be the same, don't know about the relay..

Which model surf is it ?

Do you have 4 wheel drive selected ? that's a NO NO on tarmac if your surf is a first / second gen.

Its a Manual on the G reg, its like the LSD is locking or 4WD as it only does it below 5KPH
