Drive with the ECT on if you don't mind paying around £4 a gallon for diesel - you will use a good bit more using the ECT.

I used to work in research and development for the auto door industry.
Then I thought, whats £26k a year when you can be self unemployed and do what you want!
So now I do everything from gate/barrier automation to one off lighting intallations.
Anything that is different and not the norm.
My mates house is living proof!

It's to bypass the ignition interlock on the gear change. If you hold it down you can move the gear lever out of park without having to have the ignition on.

Can I run my truck on veg oil?

I have a 2nd Gen 3ltr and can run 50% veg in the summer without problem. Fitted a DieselVeg two tank conversion about 5yrs ago and can run 100% veg. Never had any problems as long as you make sure that you start it on the diesel tank and let the engine fully warm up before switching to veg. There is no noticeable difference in performance between diesel and veg, apart from the exhaust smells like a chip shop.
