no fuel at the injectors

just finished replacing head gasket on my 3l diesel engine. reassemble the engine. I can not get fuel up to the injectors,
pretty sure injection timing is correct. if injection timing is out would it cause no fuel at the injectors?
engine ran fine before I replaced the head gasket. anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
